Noise when starting car
I have a noise that is driving me crazy. Everytime i start my car in the mornings i have a noise like its the starter still engaged, does anyone else have this. If so how can i get it fixed. I got the TSB for the crank sensors replaced and told them about this and they told me they reprogrammed the ecu for hesitation.

I have a 2000 Max and I have a noise that occurs only when it is cold outside. It sounds like the starter is not disengaging correctly. Sorry, I haven't been able to get an explanation either. Just wanted to let you know you weren't alone.

try this.
my brother told me that it was a strain on the battery from having left something on. so i have been checking it out and i notice that it happens when i have any button depressed on my temp control or auto lights or any thing that requires power on while starting the car.
