I'm pretty sure you can re-mold those sheets if you heat it properly.

 

By the way I'm willing to put down $250 down payment if you can work some kind of payment plan out with me to pay the full sum $715?. I could pay $250 every two weeks or something let me know if we can work something out i'm very serious.

i was hoping he was subscribed to this thread and was getting email notifications on it. being today was Pres. Day, i wasnt gonna email him, im gonna wait til tomorrow afternoon to shoot him an email if he hasnt gotten to me by the time i get back from lunch. he said he would try and have some tracking numbers this weekend, so hopefully he was finishing up those of us who have paid and getting them shipped or ready to ship.

 

Update guys!

OK, here is the low down on the trunk lids, I have two that are 90% completed, they will be finished between today or tomorrow, we are molding out the third one today, so we are pretty much up to speed on these trunk lids (we were not able to repair the first two trunk lids, these are totally new). We didn't spray them down this weekend with the automotive clear coat because it was still raining, we just got a break in the weather this morning so we are ready to go

Oh and I also wanted to mention that they look awesome, the shine that they have out of the mold is a show quality finish, this will all be worth the wait.

im sorry to hear about the 2 trunk lids you had to scrap. i cant wait to see pics. any idea who's trunk lid is going out first? i know i got my payment in, then A33 got his in, but who is in front of us? or is it just us 3 for the moment?

 

Yea I just saw that too, Daec is first in line, then we have Casey and Brian. I am still waiting on some payments from Michael. I will make sure to get all three shipped out this week About the two trunks that we scrapped, it's all a part of business, we can't win them all, but we can make sure to put out a quality product.

I'm as anxious as all of you guys to get these shipped out, I didn't have a totally finished trunklid last night so I didn't snap any pics yet. I'm pretty sure that I will have at least the first one finished today and be shipping that one out, and ship the second one tomorrow as well. So I will definitely have pictures posted up today

We had to wait because there was still too much humidity in the air and I didn't want to risk anymore setbacks. They are being cured and will be polished today. Monday will be the shipping date for all of the trunk lids, they will go via fedex ground. (If I have a chance to ship one out tomorrow I will)

i hope you remembered to keep out the holes for my license plate lights though

i asked Jose to put holes in mine when i sent payment, and he confirmed that he would make sure he put the holes in. i dont know if he did it for all of them or not. i assume he would, but then again, what do i know. ive been tryin to think of ideas the last few days on what you could do to light it up if you dont have them, but aside from cutting, i got nothing. i have faith in him tho, for mine cuz i specified, not sure about you guys tho...

 

i emailed jose couple nights ago and he replied to me that the holes were going to be cut except for the keyhole.

Great job man... sorry about what happened to the other lids. Hopefully you can salvage them for a different project. The new ones look great. Glad everythings come together. I think the liscence plate holes being drilled in should be standard. I didnt want the keyhole in mine anyway. I'm definately looking forward to getting mine for the show set in the spring! I've got some real $h!t to show you guys!!!
