a couple weeks ago my service engine light came on and I was going to check it out, but I could not get to my service guy for a week because of conflicting schedules. After a week, the light went off. I don't know what the problem was and the car felt fine while the light was on. Is it something I should worry about if the light went off? can I still go get the computer checked out?

the code should still be stored even though the light is not illuminated. make an appt with your guy and get the code pulled.

 

Go to autozone and pull the code yourself for free. Then come here and get the info you need to fix it.
