Have you found any errors in the owner's manual?
For example, for in the heated seats section, the manual makes it sound like you can drain your battery if you leave the heat switch on after turning off your car. However, more than once I have forgotten to turn the heat off and not had any problems. The power indicator light on the button to heat the seats goes out when I turn off the car. So it looks like the heat is off when the car is not on.
It looks like the manual is wrong.
Has anybody else found something inaccurate in the manual?

Here's a possible one. I'm not sure, but I thought if you spilled battery acid on yourself that you should not wash it off with water. The manual says to use water. I could be wrong.... Anyone know for sure?

I believe the manual refers to when you have the engine off and the ignition on Accesory that the heated seats can drain the battery.

You are right, but I believe that is not the way it is explained in the manual. At least it wasn't clear to me when I read it.
I think my 97 maxima's manual said not to use the cup holders while the car is in motion!

If you spill acid you should use a lot of water immediately to wash it off. Soap will help neutralize the acid (opposite pH)but since water is readily available, use that first to minimize any injury. That's what I think at least.

I never use my cup holders while I'm driving! I hold my cups with both my hands (just in case) and steer w/ my knees and shift w/ my elbow! Can u picture that?
