Is there a performance chip available for the 2000 Maxima's?
Only had mine for 10 days and was just wondering.

No personal experience with it, but SteveChicagoSC returned his because his E.T.s didn't decrease. Since there aren't any ECU's available for the Max, that's probably the best way to go. Not sure if you want to waste money getting it now because you'll want to retune your car each time you add a mod. My suggestion is to get it after putting on an SC, nitrous, or turbo.

I checked w/ Haltech (www.haltech.com) and they have stated that their E6K model will work with the 5th Gen Maxima.

I have no experience w/ their product other than a friend of mine on his RX7.

With a price over $1K .. I didn't look to much farther into it.

the problem with 2000+ maximas is that we have OBD#3 computers which are a pain in the butt to play with because there kinda self programing i talk to a bunch of people about itand they said there will be no such system avalible and like the others said the only way you can go is with piggy-backs
