are the axles for an auto and 5spd the same for a 01?

 

they should be the same for 00-01.

i ordered 97 auto axle, and it actually fit on my car.

I think so, however the AE LSD 5spd uses a different drivers' side axle then the auto IIRC.

Ok... So just confirming... the 00-01 auto passenger side axle is the same as the 00-01 manual passenger side axle??? That's basically what I'm looking at, and if 4th gen axle's are the same that's even better...

Yes the pass side is the same.
