18" or 19" Springs/Strusts please respond
I am about to spend some more money on my 2002 max by buying some wheels and I was wondering what's the best combination for looks, handling and ride comfort.
I have owned maxima (this one is my third, Sterling mist) for the past 11 years and I never felt uncomfortable driving a car until I owned this one. The suspension was so horrible when I first bought it that it almost made cry for trading my 97 SE. But giving the time and advices from some of you guys I went ahead and installed H&R/Tokico/Injen and that made a big difference.
Well, I was hoping if I could get some more advice from you again specially owners of the same car who made some suspension/Wheels modification on what they think about their current setup.
Here is what I am about to purchase:
-Tokico Illumina
- Another set of springs (Eibachs never again)
-and either 18" or 19" (X8,X8.5?)
Your thoughts are mostly appreciated.

I've got 19x8.5 wheels, Tein H.tech Springs and Tokico Illumina struts.
The ride was real nice when I was riding on the stock 17 SE wheels with just the springs/struts - very firm, but not harsh.
I just put the wheels on a few days ago, and the ride is terrible - but that's the price you pay! Can feel every deformity in the road - never realized just how many roads in my area aren't even close to smooth.
It's your choice whether you go 18" or 19", the ride quality will suffer some either way, it's up to you. Good choice on the Illuminas, by the way.

i have h-tech with illuminas and 18's. Personally 18's will allow you to go with a bigger tire and help keep the ride relatively nice. Mine is not too bad with the setting of the struts at 2 in front and 3 in rear and my 18*7.5 adr wheels. hope this helps.
