What is needed to install PT1012 Muff?
I finally got my PT1012 Muff in the mail today after waiting 2 1/2 weeks. Just wondering what I need to install it. I'm assuming it should be welded but I could be wrong. Is the OEM easy to uninstall or should I pay my mechanic to do it.
Thanks. btw I didn't realize those tips were gonna be that big. Looks like ricer power.

Muffler Shop It
I just got my PowerTech 1011 Muffler yesterday and I will probably bring it to a muffler shop so at least if it gets screwed up its covered under the muffler shops warranty. It only took me a week to get mine and well it was worth the wait for $99 with shipping.

the guys is gonna cut off your stock muff and put on the new one.. unless you want thim to put on some sort of brackets so u can switch from stock to aftermarket
Muffler Shop
Well, I haven't welded in sometime and I am not even sure how this muffler will fit. So I will go to the muffler shop and actually have them make a new pipe to fit the muffler from the Cat Back. I would rather spend the $50 to have it done right and not worry about it falling off or breaking. This way I can always take it back if I have any problems with it. I do most of the work on my car but will leave this one to the muffler shop. I plan on doing the Lowering Springs and Rear Sway Bar myself at hte Military Base I work at, They have an AutoCrafts Shop I am able to use. not bad, $3 an hour for a bay with a lift.
