changing sparkplug on 02' Max
changing sparkplug on 02' Max
It was difficult to change the 2-spark plugs from the left rear of the engine. I have to remove the intake manifold and slide it back to get access to the area. That really was one stupid design!!!
Anyhow, I managed to change them after spending 2-hrs removing the bolts to from the manifold cover. Does anyone know How much torque to screws those bolts back? Also, at the connection of the throttle track to the back of the intake manifold (4-screws).

For the bolts holding down the intake manifold lower collector:
- Torque setting should be between 13 to 15 ft-lbs
For the four long bolts connecting the electronic control throttle actuator to the intake manifold upper collector:
- Torque setting should be between 64 and 84 in-lbs
Peace
