delay headlamp rewire help

went to do the rewire so that I get the full 30 sec and 4o sec delays in my car when opening the front doors (which bypasses the delay and automatically turns off everything) I wanna do this because my passengers have this habit of exiting the car right when I turn the car off rather than waiting for their damn window to be rolled up (which Im rolling up for them)...I get to the part of removing the driver door switch, but this is where Im lost, Do I remove the door handle, or the Panel of things that has the door lock, window on/off, 4 window switches? I removed the switches panel and noticed I had 3 wires, not 2...Also, My rear doors dont have a switch, they only have their own window up switch....Im thinkin it should be the door handle, but someone should update the how to....I havent checked yet, but it certainly isnt the switch panel unless someone wants to tell me what wire Im supposed to cut in the drivers door and what I hook it to in the rear...I have an 01 se.

So I take it that noone in the entire known universe has done this mod, since noone wants to answer my question...I went further and cut the tape from around the wires and notice there isnt a SKYBLUE with WHITE wire, there is a BLUE with WHITE wire...Also, this is on the front drivers side...So please someone who has done this, tell me how to finish this up...Also, if anyone knows a good place to buy the door handle insert, I need 2 of those...since I broke the little clips on both front doors.
