I ordered some MaxSpeed springs for the Maxima a week ago. I e-mailed the company yesterday b/c I never received a tracking number. They call a few minutes ago and say the MaxSpeeds are on back order, but they can special order another brand for $50 more. I told them no, that I've done research and the MaxSpeeds are what I want and I'm willing to wait a couple of weeks to get them. Not 1 minute later they call back and say, "I'm sorry; my manager just told me we no longer carry MaxSpeed springs. Would you like to order the others?"

Sooooo, I cancelled the order and with plastic in hand I'm off to find my springs elsewhere. Any suggestions (other than ebay)?

werent you in the maxspeeds GD? i know they were late sending them, but i finally got mine last week..there is a seller on ebay. they were going for buy it now 79+shipping.

I saw the GD thread and the whole thing sounded sketchy to me. I checked ebay and didn't see any for the Maxima. I'm starting to get impatient (which is bad) and don't want to wait much longer. Maybe I'll give that guy in Chicago a call and see if they have them in stock still. I dunno, I'm just annoyed now.

Even after shipping that price killed everything else I saw except the GD... like I said, that sounded too sketchy to me.
