ses, slip and tcs lights on help !!!
I'm wondering if a bad ignition coil would trip the ses, slip and tcs light at the same time. I know it will trip the ses light but the other two also came on this time. I'm waiting for the coil to come in at the dealer. I changed the spark plugs and three ignition coils. Before I did this the ses light was on ( bad coil ) and the other two lights would come on once in a while and then go out. Now the three lights stay on. Any ideas ? The car studders and loses power now also.

stop doing burnouts in the parking lot!
j/k. i highly doubt that the coil pack would cause all three lights to come on. the loss of power is due to the bad coil, which is normal. but the slip and tcs sounds like a whole diffrent issue.
have you been driving aggressively on a dirt road/ice/snow/sand? that could put those codes up. but other then that, i do not know. i am sorry.
hopefuly someone else can help you out on this one.

When my coils went I had the same three lights. What will happen is the slip and tcs lights will go out on their own after about two days, but the SES light will stay on. Get the code pulled and I bet its 1320. Change all six coils and you'll be fine. That was my experience.

I knew it was the maf because it wouldn't go over 2400 rpm and of course my code reader said maf.
However what I was trying to indicate is that the slip and abc lights don't mean anything. They will go on because of other unrelated failures.

I got the same thing on my 2k just now (ses, slip, tcs off). The slip and tcs went off for a bit but now are back on , and just had a rumbly start, but car seems to accelerate/drive more or less normally. I called the stealership and they said coils run around 65 bucks each. Question is I looked around for a way to read the SES code and didnt see anything. How can I find out which coil is going bad? I really dont want to pay the 60 bucks diag fee just to know which coil to replace. Any thoughts?
