i got a berk intake for my 2000 maxima, but that kit only came with a filter and maf adapter, now i wanna get the mid pipe from the tb to the maf, anyone know where to got a cheap one, i saw frankencar is like 70 buks, a bit much for just a pipe and hose clamps, thanx!

 

just put a 3 inch exhaust pipe in there and a seperate breather for where the hose leads to.

 

Just get one from Berk Technology.

 

Go to Lowes or a decent Metal Shop and have one made!! All you need is 3" diameter piping made of aluminum and then take a Dremel, cut a bung hole for the air hose.Your set, I am sure a decent metal shop or fabrication place can make one for cheaper then any of these companies charge!

 

of course i could have made one out of a 3 inch pipe no metal shop needed, but how will i attach the 3 vacume hoses??? thas the problem, i cant just push them into a hole in the pipe.

 

www.frankencar.com has it and it has places on the mid-pipe to install the 3 hoses. It's $70 + $7.50 S/H.

Well for the hole, you would if you know someone or go to a Meineke with some smaller tubing have them Tig Weld it onto the hole. Probably only cost you $5. The total cost shouyld only be around $15. Plsu you can always paint the midpipe the solor you want to leave it the look of aluminum.

Not yet. I'm in the first 1/2 of the application process. Hopefully by the end of June we'll have at least a few CARB EO numbers.
