Can I use 4th gen springs w/5th gen struts?

I have a 2k GXE 5 speed. I am running H&R's and still have about 375 ft of front wheel gap. The problem is a 2k GXE 5-speed is light, especially since I removed the windshield washer reservoir and motors, and relocated the battery to the trunk. I guess the H&R's look good on, say a fully loaded 2k2 automatic, but not on my car. I am going to switch to Illumina's soon, but I wanted to use a 4th gen Eibach spring for the front. I know this can be done with AGX because the AGX is a 4th gen shock.

Can I use a 4th gen spring with a 5th gen shock on my 5th gen?

a 4th gen FRONT spring will fit on a 5th gen FRONT strut, but the rear wont work for you. And the windsheild washer reservoir and motors are not gonna have anything to do with you're ride height. Relocating the battery to the trunk will make the rear heavier and the front lighter...biiger wheel gap in front. And again, 50 lbs wont do anything on the ride height...
