Illumnias set to 2f/4r???

I set my new illuminas to 2f/4r and it does really well, I always felt that the rear of the max felt a bit spongy and this helps a lot, 3f is great but it shakes the hell out of the car with 18's-not great for long drives. Anyone else try 2f/4r with good results?

I normally do 2f/3r or 3f/4r, I should try 2f/4r or 3f/5r sometime. Not to mention, I've yet to try 4f/5r.

2f/3r feels rather boat-like, although it still handles decently. It's smoother in city driving. 3f/4r is more sporty, although I'm sure there's room for improvement.

I run 2f/4r and it's fine. Since I've put my 18x8 wheels on the steering is a little light but otherwise

Right now I'm running 5/5 I've only had my suspension installed for a couple of days now, so we'll see how long these settings last. The ride is a little harsh, but it is a lot better than I thought it would be.

I havent played around with any different settings yet, so do they really make that big of a difference?

What kind of tires are you running? you may be able to tune your steering to your liking with wider or stickier tires.

We are twins! I live my Eibachs/Illuminas. Set to 5/5 for now.

Quick off topic question. Do you have any weird noises coming from the rear with the eibachs? If I get in my trunk and bounce, I can hear a creaking noise coming from the strut tower area on both sides. Yes, all bolts are tight.

All my noises took about 1 1/2 months to go away. Now I've got 0 noises out of the my Illuminas/Tein s-tech combo. Just wait it out.

Illuminas ROCK.

I just switched to 3/4 for the first time -- not bad at all. This could be happy for me for the daily drive. Wish I could stand 4/5 everyday, but it's too much for my kidneys!

I too have a strange squeaking sound coming from my right rear side, but usually only after going slow over a small bump of some kind. Not sure what it is, but it's not consistent or nasty, so I'll deal with it.
progress springs, btw.
