Hey I put a Stillen RSB on my 2001 I30t, and noticed the other day that it was making a clunking noise when i was parking at the mall. so I got out and pulled on the rsb and it didnt move. The noise comes when I'm at a really low speed while I apply the break or turn the car. Umm, I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly. If anyone has any ideas or questions, please let me know.
Thanks,

ok...well, i had similar problems or worse..
what happened was that my sway bar was grinding against the control arm housing(the two arm joints in the center of the beam axle) every time there was uneven surface. i simply had to move the brackets forward one notch and moved the sway bar right under the beam. (this is for more neutral handling...).
get underneath your car and see if your sway bar is touching any part of your rear beam axle. the trick is that you should do this while you're cars still on the ground. if you jacked your car up, your suspension will also lift away from your rsb and you can't tell how close your rsb is to your beam. well, you can probably tell from the scratch marks anywayz....

i had to move mine the first time too, because everytime i went over a speed bump, i heard this 'thunk'. i look under the car and saw the scratch/abrasion on the stillen sticker i had on the center of the rsb. it was the beam going across, right above the rsb. i moved the rsb back on notch and it was gone.

btw. why didn't u show up sunday @ in&out? i thought you and skimax would be there seeing how u guys are IN IRVINE!

Weird.. I have a similar sound from my Addco RSB. Can't find anywhere that anything is hitting. I only get it on a few choice bumps and it seems to be worse with more weight in the car. Speedbumps and most everything else are fine.. no problems.

Hey punkdork, why did you choose Addco RSB instead of any other brand ? I'am going over that dilema now cuz I want to order an RSB & Eibach spring soon and before I received my new sets of tires. I was thinking going with Addco, still want to make the best choice, and it is not a questions of money or low pricing, if a better product cost few hundreds more I'll get it.

Cheers
