Nice job....beat me to it. I had the same idea planned for my max but it defentily needs some rims. Other then that, keep up the good work. With gas price this high...it's going to be a while before you see my car looking anything like that.

I'am really not feeling it. The front looks nice but sits too low to the ground, and the sides and the rear bumper (to me) are ugly. Not hating or anything, its just that I feel that your car would look better with the stillen sides & rear bumper. To me the kit takes the style out of the max.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for being hard but its the truth!!!!!!

That looks bad IMHO, but i'm more conservative. The Stillen kit is as far as i'd go.

Looks good. I'm currently in the process of doing the same dual exhaust. Except i've shaved the two fins in the middle of the rear bumper and i'm painting that exhaust section black. Question what size exhaust tips do you have? The seem very well porportion to the large holes in the rear bumper. Overall car looks good.

"dual" exhaust is when there are two seperate pipes that run all the way from exhaust manifolds to the tips. the exhaust from one half of the engine is never in the same pipe as the other half

Q: Do I have "Dual Exhaust" or do I have dual tail pipes?

A: Performance cars generally have dual exhaust, which helps eliminate exhaust system back pressure.
The catalytic converter made it's debut in 1975. No Camaro had dual catalytic converts (due to cost). Since only a single cat was used, each side of the exhaust dumped into a "Y" pipe and entered the cat. This right here turns the exhaust into a single system. Generally, all 6 cylinder Camaros had a single exhaust, single tail pipe. V8 cars had a single exhaust, to a single transverse muffler, with two tail pipes. The (1977+) Z28 technically had a single exhaust, with dual resonators.

this is a true dual exhaust. two seperate pipes with their own cat and muffler
impossible on a max due to lack of space and ground clearance.

btw, what ever it is "technically" called, it does look sweet

Pearl - if you record the sounds of the exhaust (idle, revving, drive-by, etc) I can host them for you.

I don't think that's rice cause most american V8s have duals and american's don't make rice.......(except for the Saturn "Ricers")

Most laptops already have a mic integrated (if you're not sure, test it by going to start/accessories/entertainment/sound recorder).

Im lovin the front and sides... Very Skyline GT-R The rear bumper could do without the ricey fins though.

Overall, your car looks sweet. Im looking to make some custom eyelids for my I30. I think I read something about using an adhesive magnet sheet. I need to get them done quickly so I can have them painted at the same time as my lip spoiler I just ordered.

Pictures don't do it justice... you have to see it in person... VERY clean and professional job... I'm sure you'll be entering this car into shows once you get rims. Its different, its clean, its unique... Job well done. Can't wait to see it again soon!

I like it....the front looks cool but the back not so much.....thats just me I would get 18's nothing bigger get some rims with black in the center and chrome around the lip would look sick. And air bags would be nice, expensive, but nice. then you can lower it and raise it when necessary.

To add to this....here is another pic of a true dual exhaust. It's the new Pontiac GTO.

http://pages.sbcglobal.net/stoneym/f...GTOExhaust.jpg

Before my Max, I owned a 2001 Camaro SS with the Center Mount Exhaust (much like the C5 Corvette's). Although it isn't considered true dual exhaust, I always called it a Dual Exit Exhaust (Just like your car), which I guess is a more accurate description.

Nice car BTW, I really like the new rear section with the Dual Exit Exhaust.
