to those who have done this..

in order to get the AE shift **** on the non-ae one... we have to modify that little piece of plastic that allows us to change the gears...
i was trying this but accidently cut the OD wires...so no O/D for a while

i was wondering if we could buy that plastic thing that allow us to push the button in to change gears...

anyone have any idea where i can get that

The little plastic thing is molded to the shaft and is not replacement. The whole shift console comes as a unit. The shift **** can be replaced but everything else comes together.

You should be able to splice your wires back togehter and they'd be fine.
