5th gens with rim spacers.....

Hey guys,

I am looking to buy a new set of rims and tires for the max. Some of the rims I am interested in require adding spacers to the wheels.
I would like to avoid these as I am not too interested in having my wheels stick out from my car. However, if I see pictures of a few car with them I may change my mind.

Those of you who have them (spacers) please let me know your thoughts of the ride qualisty as well as appearance. Also, please indicate the size spacer you are currently using along with pics if you have them.

thanks in advance for your response

Chris

Ecsdesignz, thanks for the response but I am not looking for a place to buy them I am looking for pics of those who have them to help me decide whether or not I want them.

I ask this because I have seen some cars with spacers that made the wheel stick out too far and it looked horrible to me.

I hope you understand and thanks again

haha sorry bout that. I had those on the rear of my car and the wheel came out to far from the fender.. say bout 1/2 inch or so. So i took them off and it's just flushed with the fender now.. Much safer.

the rims are 18 x 8 HP lightning (EVO) with 245 40 18..

Having spacers would make the car more stable.. but it kinda dangerous having the wheels sticks out of the fender.

just my 2 cents ^__^

Thank you sir!

That is the type of information I am looking for....now I must ask you why you added spacers in the first place? Do you have the same rims on there that you added the spacers to?

PS - Send Trish Thuy Trang to my house I have something for her
