Pimping new wheels....

well i tried to hold back from posting....but i just couldn't...pics just look too nice....got me some new shoes....

19x8 Moda R6's on 245/35-19 Toyo Proxes4

1) these tires grip like no other. oh my god, i'm in complete awe. only downside is going through construction sites, it does more than it's work of picking up every single damn pebble.

2) my right rear and front left is rubbing a bit when i hit a bump. i'm gonna raise the coils a bit, but i'm already working on gettin my fenders rolled. i guess the uneven height wasn't so noticable on 16's, but now on 19's, i can see it clearly, those 2 are lower than the others, which are NOT rubbing.

other than that, here ya go....so so yummy. i dont know why it looks like an extra large IS300.

That looks awesome. If you don't mind me asking, how much did this wheel/tire setup cost you?

on the contrary man...front right has enough clearance to avoid the fender. front left does NOT. so that got raised and as of last nite, it's still too low and on tight turns, i hear it rubbing.
rear left is all good, rear right rubs on hard bumps, so that's gettin raised.

if i get the fenders rolled, then i'm prolly goin back down to a good tuck. and for shows, it's dragging on the floor.

thanx for the compliments guys. i actually think i'm done with the car...i've done everything i could possibly think of. nothing more to do but go turbo, which i don't plan on doing for another 2 years (more important debts to pay off)

i'm all out of ideas. anyone got any?

Man, those wheels look fantastic. The lip really sets off the look too. I'm not much for tucking so I think it'll look even better after you raise her up a bit.

ChromeSE5 - will let you know when i get home

Arnold K - want my address too while you're at it. nothing against you man, but last thing i want is people knowing where to "look for me"....if you see me, you'll recognize me. no hard feelings. i don't trust many people on the org. stories have been told. things have happened.

Conrad - and to think it was lower, but it had to go up cause of the rubbing

IgS - Ange...Redlinemax....she'll beat tirerack if you're local.

Redstratic - i like the leather idea..some stiching on it perhaps...twotone...it's an idea..hmmm

Are you serious? Well then I don't blame your suspicions then. I've had sh*t happen to my Max, too. Oh, well. Queens ain't that big and I've seen a handful of other org members around the highways and all. Congrats again.

thanx...ya gotta remember that just cause they're on the org, doesn't mean they're good people. we're all just as grimey as the person next to us. being on the org would prolly be a common thing amongst thieves, since we yap our mouths off about our mods (smack myself)

ChromeSE5: 16's were tire size of 215/55-R16

Phat2k1AE: i actually have no clue what the offset of these wheels are. anyway for me to find out. is it stamped somewhere inside the rim. i just bought them w/out really thinking about it. i personally didn't think 8's would really cause an issue. but...i guess they have!!

They look great. I should know, I had them on the Max right after I got it in Oct 2002. I have the 18x 8" version with 245/40/18 Yokohama AVS ES100s. Not dropped yet, but still like the look. Pics are on my Car domain site.

roughly 24", but since i'm rubbing, i had to raise it in a few spots, so i'm about 25" now.

I'd get a cf hood next and maybe 2 tone leather. Other than that its perfect.
