HELP!: minor accident =*(

Hi guys, long time no post...

I just got into a minor accident. Some lady side swiped the corner of my bumper and left a 1/4 mm thick 1.5 inch gash on my back left bumper.

Is it possible for a body to shop to repaint just that portion of my bumper or do they have to repaint the whole thing?

Please advise on course of action.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

They'll have to repaint the whole bumper for the best results.

One way or the other, though the best way would usually be to repaint that portion and then some. This way they can gradually match (as close as possible) the paint.
