Another question
I bought a 2kSE before you could buy the 17" wheel package. Did the 17" package come with different springs and shocks, because on the 2kSE with the 16" package there is a speed governor at 130 (I know cause i've hit it annoyingly a few times).
Anybody know, cause the dealer sure as hell doesn't. Why hire people that have no idea what they are dealing with. Then again most of us are not the normal consumer.

I know it is because of the tire rating. The question I had was if the 17" wheel and tire package also came with stiffer spring and/or shocks.

But to answer your question, yeah switch the ecu and that should fix your problem, and a SE suspension is a SE suspension no matter the tire/rim combo.
Well......true and not true. I used to own a formula firebird. The formula with the 16" high performance wheel package came with a different suspension setup. The 16" **** eagle GA's came with a softer setup. The difference was between the stock macpherson setup and the bilstiens. Thats why i was asking. I was just wondering if Nissan did the same goofy junk.
