Illuminas/KYB-AGX Help!

I am trying to make up my mind on getting the Illuminas or the AGX for my 2k2 max. I have been posting questions for the past few weeks about my current setup with no luck for response. I have H&R and Tokico HPs and I really do not like the ride specially that the HPs are starting to bottom out on every little bump.
I am looking for the softest ride without sacrificing handling. Please let me know which route to take regardless of the price differences. I do not mind getting a different set of springs to match the damping rate of the struts.

Thanks

current setup:

The AGXs are often considered to ride more harshly than the illuminas.

well, maybe this will help.
For the KYB AGX, you need a 4th gen rear spring to fit on the perch of the 4th gen strut. But they are much stiffer then the illuminas and can be set to be as soft. The highest setting on the illuminas (5) is equivalent to 2 of 4 on the AGX.

I just upgraded my rear GR2 to KONI and I really like them. I also had started bottoming out and the rear had this aweful "sag" to it. I ended up using the upper perch on the KONI strut and adjusting the rebound damping upward. The ride is smooth and pretty well controled plus the rear sits up about .5" higher than before. . . . I'm not sure which front strut (besides the KONI insert) might compliment the rear KONI, but the GR2's I have up front right now seem to be ok, although not perfect. Just food for thought.

I'd highly recommend the Illuminas over AGX. Many AGX owners complain of significantly stiffer ride in cold weather.

I switched from AGX to Illumina's because the AGX's only work on dampening not on rebound, whereas the Illumina's do both.

Still pull the same 1.75 60' times, no difference. As far as handling, I have no idea, I just go straight.
