lame. wtf are you gonna do with 1000hp in a front wheel drive car? Here's what: nothing. Because a 350-400 hp s/c or turbo max is about as much as can be handled with fwd....

^^^^^ What he said.

I speak from experience. I have a modded Talon Turbo, FWD. My biggest regret is not getting AWD when I bought the car (new). FWD sucks for getting power to the pavement. The physics are just all wrong. FWD drag cars do a bunch of things to stop the weight transfer but those do not apply to a street driven car if you want to keep the fillings in your teeth.

I've considered getting it (not boosted, but 11.5:1 CR N/A and keeping it daily driven-that's about 450 +/- 15 HP right there).

The CR isn't what makes an engine loud...but it will have to "breathe" easy in order to make the most of it's power

Big whoop, it's not like I need a thousand HP for daily driving unless I'm trying to beat a Ferrari.

If the price was lower that set up would be more cost effective than forced induction in the long term.
