Tires rotated and now it feels...

I got my tires rotated and now the car turns to the left. I had the alignment done when I put on these cheap *** (but long lasting) Cooper Cobras at 68k and now I'm at 112k. Did Habib torque the bolts too tightly or is it just time to get aligned? Sometimes it feels like I'm fighting to keep the car straight. That's just how bad it wants to go left.

Rotate em back. If the pull goes away, it's time for new tires. If it stays there, get an alignment.

Like paralyse said, rotate your tires back and see if that fixes your problem.

Habib said the tires have 60% tread left. But, yeah I'll rotate them and check tire pressure.

jus mount left tire on the right rim/ then mount right tire on left rim, so tire rotation can b consistence- what we (nissan)do with 350z

check the tire pressure first I work for a tire place that is the most come cause of a car pulling. if that doesn't correct it get the left side rotated and see if it pulls if it doesn't get the tire you just rotated back changed

Its either a slipped belt in the tire or a bad alignment. Rotating the tires will only hide the problem. If you haven't had an alignment in a long time, try that first. It may be that your alignment is out, but that the rear tire has less wear and so is more sensitive to the mis-alignment.

I have the same problem with my mastercrafts(same as coopers). Just had alignment done and still drifted right so he tech switched 2 front tires side to side and that helped, but I know I have a bent rim and I have to keep it on the rear, so I can't truly rotate the tires the proper way. The tech told me I may have a lateral pull in the tire, similar to slipped belt but causes a pull rather than a shim. Oh well need to get some miles out of the tires before I can replace them.

350z uses directional tires (Potenza S03s?) and should never be mounted backwards as suggested above.

I thought the Z had the RE040? Anyway, you are absolutely correct, reversing the rolling direction of the tire, even with non-directional radials, is probably a bad idea.
