Ok, so my rotors have now warped for the second time (once at 17k and now at 34k, exactly spaced apart, kinda wierd) so i go to the dealer without mentioning the TSB and say that i have a brake pulsation. they come back after a while and tell me that i need my rotors resurfaced and i need new brake pads because the are heat glazed as well. itll cost me $180. so i ask if the rotors are covered under warranty. he says no. just the answer i wanted to hear so i politely tell him to check on that and he says he doesnt need to check because he knows they arent covered. eventually i talked him into at least looking for the TSB. he came back about 10 minutes later and says "what do you know, the rotors are covered." what was i wasting my breath for? anyway i was expecting him to grudglingly not charge me for the rotors and leave it at that, but rather he told me that he would install NEW BRAKES FREE OF CHARGE. he said he'll just chalk up the brake pads to the rotor TSB and not charge me for anything. i was thoroughly surprised, and actually happy with my dealer for once. i might fill out my survey on this one

Its nice to know that you can find a dealer that actually cars what your face looks like instead on your rear end! Where is this dealer at?

Wish they would replace mine.

Mine were resurfaced twice already and the dealer refused to replace it saying that the rotors has not reached their limit yet on how much more it can be cut. Any suggestions on how I can warp my rotors again?

Drive fast.. break hard and then spray your rotors with cold water.

Don't forget to keep the brakes on when you spray the water onto the rotors. Just watch the rotors to make sure you didn't crack them.

I suppose you could "brake hard" if you were interested in correct spelling.
