New to my Maxima, need some help

I'm sure this is a really stupid question for you expert guys, but how many catalytic converters does 2000 SE have. Also if anybody have a picture of how a Y-pipe looks can you send me the link please. And it seems that all of you guys are getting a Y-pipe for your maximas, can some one tell me why its such a good performance mod. And one more thing, does Y-pipe come with a catalytic converter, cuase i think mine is cloged and needs changing. Like i said its probably bunch of stupid question but i'm a novice to a maxima and i want to learn about it as much as i can. I appreciate all you help. Also my brakes keep on making noise, but i cut my rottors and had new pads, can it be that teh pads are really bad company and i need new ones. Or do i need to buy like a whole new brake job. like rotors and pads.

THANK YOU

You know, unless you punched out your cats, it should be clogged looking.

Here's a picture of Y-Pipe from Southwestautoworks
