smoke front and rear bumper lights

I would like some advise. I have a black 2000 maxima with clear front and rear bumper lights. I'm thinking about spraying a smoke tint on both of them so it would fade in with the car. What do you all think?

i did that on my car but only to the rear ones. just to warn you that the light will shine through like a purple ish red. so i just took out the bulbs, to make them not light up. i used night shades tint.

Hope this helps.

I like the look. I used Night Shades on the stock amber and red corners with the stock bulbs. (I didn't want to experiment on my clear corners) The colors are good, but not as bright as without the paint. Sorry, no night pics yet...
