my friend just picked up an 01 maxima and would like to put some new side skirts on. hes going for a nice clean look so nothing to agressive. he looking for somthing factory looking. any ideas?
will 03 maxima sides fit his 01? the 03 sides are more agressive right?

anyway imk a honda guy so i really dont know much and the search funtion isnt working
so any help would be awsome

your buddy should look into the 20th AE kit if he's looking for a non aggressive look.

 

do lips look stupid w/o sideskirts and rear?

 

depends on what lips. AE lip looks fine in my opinion without the rest, although the whole kit looks much better

I wish there was a kit like the one on my wife's Mazda 3S....very clean, very classy side skirts in my opinion..here's a really bad pic....

This may be a stupid question, but why doesn't your friend ask?

 

Where can the AE kit be bought? I love the AE Max.

 

At any local Nissan Dealer or some online nissan parts may have it or you can call Dave B too (not sure what his number is - sorry). It also comes pre-painted and the rear bumper section is not a complete wrap around like the original AE kit. Hope this helps.

Custom maxima came out with some new side skirts for thier kit. The skirts don't match the kit but it blends well with the stock body.

Check the vendor experience forum though and review some stuff on custom maxima.

his car is grey lustre and he will have to get it painted to match the car

 

Don't mean to disagree, but the AE kit is also available in grey lustre, just provide the VIN number (which i'm sure the dealer will ask) and it should show up. This other guy on .org "Larrio" has that color but his car is actually the original AE model. Sweet color!
