Lost to a Turbo SI!!! I need link to Hot Shot Headers Plz

Si pasted me and then slowed to wait as i went next to him and we both punched it in third he was already starting to pull as my rpms were near red line and through 4th still was pulling not too hard but i then turned my radio down to hear a nice sounding blow off valve. damn them little 900lbs cars that can fit into almost any hole with a turbo to help, i guess it didnt help that i had my car full of ppl?? prolly wasnt a good thing but still ****ed me off to lose to a SI, my next mods are headers, high flow cat, and cat back, so let me know which i should go with im thinking hot shot headers, not sure of which cat to go with or which cat back, are there any dynos for difffernt cat backs?

Hey MoMax00, it's not funny to loose, but not that bad for the ego. I'm going to switch the Cattman Y-Pipe for the Cattman headers soon, I have the Y on for a little over 2 years and never had a single problem so Cattman is my choice for the headers and cat-back he's one of the best in the industry of fabrication. As for the high flow cat many thinks that there useless, I would say dont throw your money in there there is no real gain unless you buy a race pipe, but then you will fail emission. I'm shure the headers will give you more than the Y, but it might not be enough to spank the SI. A cattback wont give much maybe 5hp. The addition of an UD pulley & lighten flywheel can probably free's around 12-15 HP that where steal by previous too heavy crank pulley and OEM flywheel. If you can afford a 50 shots Nitrous with the previous mods = bye bye SI. This SI guy probably spend a good amount of money, times and works tunning his car so it's a matter of dedication and how much you wanna spend. Good luck with your mods.

Cheers

AA

You might have lost, but for the rest of the day, you're riding in comfy, quiet, Max, while he's riding in a buzzy little Civic.
