Hey, anyone have any luck clearing out those corner amber lenses? I work for Infiniti, and I'm waiting for someone to get some waranty repairs on the lense (they cost $2000) and that way I can bust one apart and see if I can remove the amber lense and reseal the silicone so it doesn't leak. Just wondering if anyone else had any luck. Think it'd make the car look way better.

no don't

i wouldn't suggest you crackin' those lenses open. condensation might build. homade clears are always not the same after your put it back. it does look nicer than ones that can be purchased but still i say not worht the risk if your lights are 2k. but i also dont' see why it cost that much our light housing are only 200. r34 by apc are around the same price as well..

yeah

Yeah, that's how it is. I work for Infiniti, so I'm claiming that one of my headlight housings is busted, so under waranty I get a new one. I'm gonna play with it, see how it goes.
