6 Speed Conversion

Ok, I know some of you automatic guys have also thought this, but I am considering switching my wife's 03' auto into a 6 speed. Have any of you guys done this? If so, are you happy you did it? We love this car and we're kind of stuck with it for a while also, but we hate the auto, well my wife hates it, so this is now a consideration since we can't trade it. Also, can any of you guys provide a comprehensive list of all the parts needed to do this successfully? I don't mind using used parts if I have to, but I want to do it right the first time, so I need all the parts. Any help you guys can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jimmy

even with the maxima's poor resale, it will cost less to trade your ride in on a 6-speed than it will to do a 6-speed conversion........this conversion takes all kinds of things from electrical to motor mounts (autos have electronics mounts, sticks do not..)

gonna be tough to find any "used" parts for a relatively new car, especially since most of them are automatics.

SR20DEN, what would it cost me, parts and labor? I am in King, NC so I'm not that far from you. Do you work for a Nissan dealership?
