Need brake pad help (quickly)

1st, I have a 2000 SE. I'm putting Brembo blanks on the fronts and I'm using Greenstuff pads. The new pads don't have the little "ear" at the top that catches the retainer clip. Did TireRack send me the wrong pads, or was I supposed to buy new retainers that go with the new pads. I stll have time to run over to Pep Boys tonight to get another set of pads, so any quick help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you're referring to the wear indicators. The OEM pads have 2 on each pad set. Top and bottom. It looks like most of the aftermarket pad only have one. That's how it was when I replaced my pads.

No need to worry. As long as the pad fits, you should be fine.
