Well today I got a 2k2 Maxima. It is a SE model and it is a auto. Can you guys decide for how much I got it for? I am going to be using it as a parts car and I will post the parts that I do not want in the For Sale Forum.

The car pretty much has about 20+k in damage. What did u get it for? 1k?

 

$4k are you kidding. The car is damaged on all sides. The engine is probably no longer good, if it runs, it's surely out of spec now.

Unless you are into restorations or automotive repair, I can't imagine why you would want this car. Your not going to get much for the parts, and add up all the time and labor pulling the parts out and it's hardly worth it.

As it stands, I wouldn't of paid more than $1k for it MAX. And you'd be lucky to make a couple grand in parts. Then add up all the work you'll be putting into parting it out and storage and such, and you won't even make minimum wage.

I hope your in the auto repair business otherwise you got dealt a losing hand.

last I checked there are only 2 NISMO products made for the Maxima - radiator cap and oil filler cap...and no, stickers and license plate frames don't count.....so like Jason said...what is the deal with all the new "nismo" screennames. Nobody on here has a single performance mod made by Nismo, most likely.....

my point is...you (along with alot of newer people) have nismo in your screen name when im 100% sure you have NO NIMSO PARTS ON YOR CAR. radiator and ail caps dont count. why is everyone on nismo's nuts??? they make NO performance mods for the maxima and even if they did they wouldnt be any better then the products already avaliable.
if you like nismo so much, get a sentra. nismo makes stuff for them.

 

maybe they are a fan of factory supported nissan race teams in the JGTC, or appreciate the racing history of the Nismo name plate. Or maybe they think its cool to have Nismo in their SN, in any of those cases, who the hell are you to question them.

ok here is the deal.

total for car=$1585
leather interior in perfect condition without airbags
rims= perfect condition and not bent
engine runs but cant test the tranny because car is not drivable
1 headlight okay

so looking at it, i already made more money on parts than what i paid for the car. and misc. parts will be for sale but interior, engine, tranny and rims are mine.

 

So what are you selling? The dents?


And while this thread IS ...you idiots who say no Nismo parts for our car besides the gas cap or whatever? Stop hating on someone's screename.

there are alot of parts on that car that are in good to excellent condition. the doors are perfect, spoiler, roof, sunroof, suspension, brakes, interior, engine,tranny. so lloking at it from a different prospective, it is not all messed up like you may think. and the engine and tranny and interior are mine cause i need them for my project. i will set up a list of stuff that i will sell i take everything first.

 

Damn....I really wanted the intake manifold and throttle body....
