Turned on car...ABS light, TCS light and SLIP light lit up...

I turned on my car today and those three lights were illuminated on my dash:
TCS light, ABS light and SLIP light.

Anybody else encounter this?

Or can someone suggest what the problem could be?

I drove the car around and it feels fine....

i would hook it up to an OBD2 diagnostic tester. everytime i have seen someone post this in both 4th & 5th gen sections, it ended up being a coil issue. early-mid build 01 have the same coils as 2k and 99's and they have a very high rate of failure. i would suggest pulling the code and most likely it will be P1320.

acMAX ,

i was reading that if your TCS + Slip display at the same time on the dash, you have a TCS issue (from the FSM i was reading this morning).

ABS thing.. not sure..

hope others can help ..

My bad alternator triggered my ABS light. Have autozone do a test on the alt just for the hell of it. Good luck.

Hey guys, there are a maybe a couple of thing that can wrongly trigger the ABS-TCS-Slip cel, but if you get the 3 cel light together and ABS doesn't work there is a good chance that the problem is related to one of the ABS sensor, if one of the sensor fail it seem that the system goes off and trigger the 3 cel. I have those 3 cel on for a little over 2 months, the ABS doesn't work but other than that my car is running very well, no problem at all. The technician at the dealership told me it's probably one of the ABS sensor, I'll check into this next week.

Cheers

AA

check your abs sensors make sure they car connected.. or nothing is applying pressure on it..
if they are damaged its about 300 bucks to change

if all your sensors are ok... just disconnect your battery overnight to reset teh ECU.. hopefully the lights go away..

if not then you got some money to drop to get it fixed at the dealer

good luck

There is one on each hub behind the brake rotor. You will see the electrical connection for them.

Would it be best if I raise the car or have them up on jack stands to really see clearly?
