Mystery Vacuum Hose

I just installed a Frankencar intake and midpipe on my 2000 Maxima SE (5spd) and I found a mystery vacuum-like line that doesn't appear to go anywhere. It comes off the tranny and ends up hanging out right near the front valve cover. I checked all the parts I removed and can't find the nipple it wants to suck on. Help!

Yes it is the transmission breather hose. It does not connect to anything.
