ABS Sensors

Hello all,

I think I may be experiencing ABS sensor failure.

How would I go about checking this out myself?

Can anyone offer some good advice on what to look for and the
best way to go about doing this?

Thanks in advance...

Take the car up to 40MPH, stand on the brake pedal, see if the ABS kicks in, then you'll know.

Is your ABS light on? If one of ABS sensors is dead Nissan dealer can hook up Consult and it will let you know immediately which one is dead.

Is there something I can physically see if I put the car up on jackstands?

well if you having trouble with abs then the abs light should come on..
however there are a a couple ways you can check to see if the abs is connected..

jack up the car under ever tire.. and see if the abs line is actually connected.. then make sure if nothing is applying pressure on the lines..

usually abs light comes on if the line is disconnected or there has been a substantial amount of pressure applied on the lines..

good luck

Maybe you have a frozen rear caliper like me it took me awhile to find why my ABS light was on. Untill one day my rear rim was almost red hot and the other side was just a little warm.
