Im an idiot .. LOL

i can change lowering springs, and shocks, but i never did brakes.

The mechanical process is easy (just a bunch of bolts), but i meant like what else do i need?

get a C-clap to compress the pistons in the caliper take off your wheel compress the caliper lossen the bolts take the caliper off and then the hole bracket holding the rotor in place, i dont recall im trying to have a mental thought if the rotor comes off with the bracket off it might if it doesnt then theres a cap in the middle that u take off and lossen the big bolt inside for some reason i dont think u have to do that not sure but thats both ways to do it either the center bolt under that cap or the bracket holds it in also if its the center bolt u have to grease up the fitting again before putting back in the way it all comes out it goes back in, once the rotor is off just put all the new **** on and when u are ready to put the pads in make sure u get an old pad and fully compress the calliper pistons in so that everything just slides right in place. Also brake lube all the slides all the parts that u can see physical contact from rubbing and what not thats about it good luck, also someoen that knows if its the bracket that holds the rotor in place please post it cuase i just dont recall it right now and by him knowing that makes life alot easyer

hey you know what? your post would be a whole lot easier to read if it wasn't just one gigantic sentence. how about some punctuation and separating your thoughts into paragraphs.

LOL...

Thanks dude.. for the help... I think i gotta pick up some lube... I heard if you aren't careful with the C-Clamp, you could actually cause the piston to seize

you do not need to compress when you are taking off the calipers. they will come off without doing that.get some brake cleaner, any brand will do. a bottle of your choice of brake fluid, a small enough pipe to fit over the cylinder to bleed. once youi are done taking off the calipers, take off the rotors. some times they are stuck. if they are stuck, there are 2 holes on the rotors, you can screw in bolts to get off the rotors. put in new rotors, now clamp the front rortrs. the rear ones have to be screwed in. do not attemp to compress the rear ones, you will mess-up the calipers.

the reason for geting the brake fluid: this is a good time to flush the fluid. your hands will be greased and dirty. find a buddy who will be willing to bleed the brakes.

if you decide to do a half *** job, and not change the brake fluid, make sure you take off some brake fluid from the reservior, before you compress the calipers. if you don't do that, the brake fluid will over flow after you compress.

i am a little under the influence of TEQUILA ( PATRONE OFCOURSE). So i apologize for the spelling mistakes...oh yea and lube as posted earlier

ITEMS NEEDED:
1. Anti-sieze lube (wheel studs)
2. high temperature grease (caliper pins)
3. Needle nose pliers (rear caliper compression)
4. C-clamp (front caliper compression)
5. Jack stands
6. Jack
7. New brake hardware kits for front and back (consist of shims and retain springs)

FRONT BRAKES

1. Remove wheel
2. Remove caliper (two 14mm bolts)
3. Hang caliper off spring (best to use a coat hanger)
4. Remove caliper bracket (two 19mm bolts)
5. Remove brake rotor (use a 9/16 or 14 mm bolt in the bolt hole in the middle of the rotor to loosen from hub)
6. Install new rotor.
7. Re-install caliper bracket. Use high-temperature (non-silicone) grease to lube bracket pins (with rubber boots).
9. Install new hardware & brake pads.
8. Compress caliper using c-clamp to fit over brake pads. Make sure the brake fluid reservior is vented and you have a rag around it to catch any overflow.
9. Re-install caliper.
10. Re-install wheel.

REAR BRAKES

1. Remove wheel.
2. Remove caliper (two 14mm bolts) and hang out of the way.
3. Remove caliper bracket (two 16 mm bolts)
4. Remove brake rotor (use a 9/16 or 14mm bolt to push off hub)
5. Install new brake rotor.
6. Install caliper bracket (lube caliper pins).
7. Install brake pads with new hardware.
8. Compress rotor (use needlenose pliers and twist sloted rotor clockwise to push it in, very important to have the slot at 90 degree angles with the pad. Meaning the rotor needs to be square with the pad, two slots horizontal and two vertical.)
9. Re-install caliper.
10. Re-install wheel.
11. Tighten up brake fluid reservior cap and wipe off excess fluid.
12. Pump brake pedal a few times before starting car.
13. Start car and test out brakes. If all is well then proceed to the brake burnishing procedure.

BRAKE BURNISHING

Get up to 30MPH and lightly push the brake pedal until fully stopped. Do this 10 times while allowing 30 seconds in between to cool the rotors and pads.

Hope this helps.
