Switching switches

Anyone know how hard it would be to swap the steering wheel heater switch and the auto seat switch? I can't see the steering wheel heater switch from my normal driving position but I can see the seat switch fine, so I just want to swap their locations. I fingered around behind the switches (reaching up through the fuse cover) and I thought it might not be too hard, but I wondered if one of you masters knew if there was a dash removal involved, or if they pretty much pop out.

I don't have these since I'm a 2k, but if they are the same size switches, it should be no problem, although you may have to extend the wires......like most newer cars, all the switches on the front panel are in universal slots....

just my 2 cents, sorry can't be more specific...

As the switches are right next to each other, I'm hoping there is plenty of slack in the wires. I'd only be moving the switches the width of the switch itself. And they are identical in size and shape, so they should fit. I'll look closer Friday afternoon or Saturday. And I appreciate all input.

This was so easy. 2 screws and the dash panel below the steering wheel comes off with a little wiggling. Pop the connectors off the switches, pop the switches out (a flathead screwdriver helps, pop one side out, then the other), pop them back in in the opposite locations, and viola (that's French), I can see my steering wheel heater switch.

Good idea changing over the switches, I just did it myself. I noticed the same problem last winter with not being able to see the steering heater switch. Thanks for the tip.
