A question on how tranmissions work. I've heard alot about how a 5 speed is better than a 4 speed ( better pickup and less losses between crankshaft and wheel output).
So how is a 5 speed automatic compared to a 5 speed manual in terms of performance. I'm not talking about mileage nor am i talking about how the newer 6 speeds are the best...I want to know the difference in performance between a 5 speed automatic(even tiptronic might work) and a 5 speed manual?
