I have a beige colored 2k SE and I'm thinking about getting those projector headlights that are on ebay (because $1000+ is way out of my range for the HIDs). I what color do you think I should get? The black housing might match the smoked tailights and the tint on my car, but the chrome is always classic.

Tough call. If I had to pick one, I would probably pick chrome.

If you got black tails, I would say go with black.

Get black. Once you see the chrome on it, you'll paint it black anyway

I thought the beige color was Sunlit Sand, like mine, not Sterling Mist.??

Are you high?

Get the chrome, they have a better match. I don't like the black housing, it looks very flat.

2001SEMax: They leave a gap only on the 2002 and 2003. Ideally, these projectors were made for the 00/01.

Looks like black's in the lead....I'll probably get those unless someone convinces me otherwise. For those who already own them, are they plug and play? I saw a post earlier that said you have to wire the angle eyes yourself? If so, write-up somewhere? And thanks everyone for your input, I've had a tough time deciding =P

2kSC- do you have pics of your car w/the projectors on?

I think he has "sunlit sand" ...sterling mist is more like silver.

Get some AE headlights, they look great on the sunlit sand/beige max...
