Has anyone experienced a slight hesitation on thier VQ35DE engine? For the first time today I noticed a slight hesitation with acceleration from 2,500-3,000 RPM and then it picks up pace after that. It ONLY happens within that range and there are no noises associated with the hesitation...no dummies lights on either. My car is a 2002 Maxiam SE 6-sp w/a Cattman CAI installed for about a month now. This also happens in all 6 gears. Any ideas guys? Thanks.

 

i think since you have a CAI .. you've lost a bit of low end torque thats why its a bit hesitant...
