Removing Axle Nut

I am trying to install some wheel spacers this weekend but could use some tips on removing the axle nut.

I bought a 30mm socket for my 1/2in breaker bar, but it seems a little bit too big. Is it like a 29mm nut?

Also what torque are thos on there? They seem pretty tight. Do you think I will get them off with just a breaker bar? I dont have an impact wrench and would like to do this myself.

BTW, I dont want to try to pound out the studs with the hub on the car.

TIA

Just drive around and find a mechanic who will do it. Should charge you between $5-10. It's worth it.

man. it is so easy. it is a 32. a breaker bar will do it. if not add a extension onto the breaker bar and take it off.

I guess I will try to slip some pipe over my breaker bar to get some more leverage.

Oh, and if its a 32mm nut then how come I put a 30mm socket on it and it was still a bit too big?

Have you done this before?
