HID question

Which 5th gen models have the HID? I've tried looking and haven't really found much. I'm going to be buying a Maxima and want to make sure that I get what I want.

Make sure you live in the right neighborhood though. You don't want them stolen.

They did start to steal them in Florida though....so I wouldn't get a 2k2-2k3 maxima.....get a 2k1 and supercharge it......

How would I be able to get info on what areas of FL are problematic? I really want the HID but I don't want them to be stolen all the time.

There's no guarantee as to in which areas your car will be safe. You can park it in front of a McDonald's and 2 minutes later they may be gone and then sold on eBay or whatever. My own impression is that P-cola / Milton is not that bad theft-wise, but here in South Florida I know people whose HIDs got stolen with the car parked in front of their front door. It only takes a minute and even if you hear the thieves, it may be too late. Plus all the possible damage to the car, plus $1300 to have them replaced.

Then again, the only reason why I envy all you with 2k2-2k3 Maxes is the bigger engine, so I wouldn't really recommend getting a 2k-2k1. By the way, how much does the supercharger kit cost?

This is true, but no one can come up and take your 30 extra hp. I didn't think pensacola was going to be a problem, but I was just wondering.
