Even with 92 octane, and 5000km, my car still starts rough sometimes, and gets real bad gas mileage!!! I think the car is running to rich. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have 8k miles on mine and I get around 20 or 21 mpg in mixed driving that includes a lot of stop-and-go traffic. I guess I could get better mileage if I had a lighter foot on the gas though

I'm at 15K

still have very occasional problems starting. pretty rare these days, but happens. still have a rough idle.. gotten used to it.

I have crappy mileage because I have a short drive to work. you know it runs rich for the first 8-12mins. You know all V6s now get 14-16mpg for the first 10 mins, including Honda, Toyota, and Audi. Even tho I get about 220 miles to a tank, as soon as I hit the interstate on a long trip, I go right up to 25+mpg.

I had poor fuel economy (mixed driving getting around 18-19mpg)and starting problems when my car was still green. Now with 17K miles, the car starts perfectly and my fuel economy during mixed driving is around 22-24mpg now. My car does not drink as much in the city and the engine feels more powerful and responsive.

When I first got the Max, I was getting about 15L/100km. I was expecting around 12L/100km as advertised in their brochure (I think it was 12.1 or something like that). So I started keeping track since then (about 1000km). Anyway, after about 9000km, it started improving. And now, at 11500km, my mileage is around 12.5L/100km. And still getting better. So don't give up yet. You got another 5000km to go or so.
