Colored Wire Loom

Opinions on colored wire loom? What color do you think would look best...only mod you can see under hood is a PR CAI which is silver and black...i'm thinking either red ($18) for 3/4" and 3/8" to fit big and small hoses...or chrome ($50) for same sizes which seems a bit steep and i think red might actually look better and stand out more with the battery cap etc...either way i go i'll prob end up getting a front strut bar to match the wire loom.

IMO, that looks ricey. why would you want to bring so much attention to freakin wires, cables, and hoses?????
i put some news wire looms on mine to replace the old ones. but i used black so it would blend in.

Thanks polak for fixing the pic the org was really slow when I posted it and I didn't have the patients to wait or preview...

I agree with sooner on this matter now. I put them on to dress up the engine but now I think it's ricey and I'm thinking of replacing it with black soon. It's dirty anyways!

HOWEVER... I do think that it is entirely up to personal preference. And we ALL have seen much more ricer mods on maximas here on the ORG

yah it's all personal preference...not to pick a fight but soonerfan said he thought it looked ricey altho i think that taking the emblems off the back of your car is ricey and that is what ppl with hondas and toyotas etc do bc they don't want ppl to know the real model or make or they just think it looks good...i proudly keep the maxima se logo

<~~ not a fan of colored plastic wire loom. It looks ok at first, but it fades after time (doesn't take that long) and ends up looking like crap. I've debated it for show purposes, but I might just do more black wire loom and keep it clean.

im not doing it to "hide what model i have". if that was the case i wouldnt have also removed the maxima and gle emblems. i removed all the emblems because i wanted to improve the clean smoothness of the car. i know i have a nissan maxima gle and im proud of that. and thats what matters. everyone still knows its a maxima and smart people can tell its a gle. i dont have to have emblems to "show" people what i have. if i was really trying to fool people i would put on a SE emblem or even......heaven forbid..........a GTR emblem like some people have.
