is this good that an ecu is being replaced?
Over the holiday weekend, my SES light went off. Took the MaX to the dealer and he said that it was the O2 sensors that needed to be replaced. So they replaced that, but then the car would not start. The dealer is ordering a new ECU to hopefully fix this problem. Just wondering if this is normal and a good thing that i get a free new ECU?
Sounds like they screwed up and either A)fried your ECU or more likely B)can't follow instructions and interupted the download for the latest software to your ECU labotomizing it which requires a new ECU.
