How many of you modded your Max while under warranty?

So, who here has a modded Max (only performance) and is still under warranty?

I tried not to. I got the 100,000 mile B-B warranty and it took about 45,000 then I dove in.

instead of replacing the crap OEM maxima MAF, why don't you guys just buy a Z32 MAF or a Cobra MAF...(well, assuming those will fit)

but I would get tired of replacing the POS.

hey, i'm more than willing. just point me in the right direction.

my dad has a 2k maxima and i asked if he'd let me trade my MAFS for his since he has no intention of modifying his car, but he's convinced that the MAFS problem is my fault for modding my car and won't let me touch his.

i only have a berk intake but unless the problem can be blamed on the mod it doesnt matter that it is on the car.

they can't even do a decent oil change. on my last one they overfilled it by about a quarter, and ripped a portion of the protective cover.

The dealership is on the burbs of Chicago Last time I was there they where putting a Spec V engine in- kid had Greddy exhaust, HS headers, AEM CAI... he drained the oil out of the engine in order to get a new one from Nissan. QR25DE engines where famous for burning lots of oil through the rings... he was burning some, but it was within Nissans spec for a new car... he got fed up, drained the oil and reved it till it locked up- WARRANTY I also worked for the same dealer, and sent .ORG members there for having all kinds of Warranty work done on their rides. I currently work for Acura, too bad I can't have any of ya come in for work... but then again ya don't drive POS Acuras. I'm heading to a local Bentley dealer pretty soon.

you would definitely take off an aftermarket intake before getting warranty on your MAF but would you take it off for 30k maintenance?
