speaker sizes

Can anyone tell me the sizes for all of the speakers on an 03 Max with the "premium" Bose sound system? I am looking to upgrade the speakers and keep the stock head unit. Can I just buy speakers that are the same size and swap them or do I have to get some special ones?

NO...I'm tired of people getting incorrect information on here. Unless you have a special non-bose Maxima that got 4" installed by mistake, they are ALL 6.5"

Here's a pic of the ones that came out of my car.

WRONG...=) be a man and stuff some 6.5" in there. Oversized ones that are 6 3/4 requre a little more special skill. But they fit. Theyre usually 5 1/4". If you put 4" i dunno why you did that.

if you have BOSE, simply email bose support and they will get back to you in a day with the exact sizes if you want 100% accuracy. They wont lie :-)
