If I was the bank, I'd drag my feet too.....giving you 22K to buy a car, sight-unseen, from halfway across the country, off ebay.....bank has to be sure the value of the car matches or exceeds what they loan you - that's just the way it works - and how can they be sure of the condition/value of the car when its thousands of miles away....

you can't find a 2k3 max for 22k somewhere closer to home?.....you should call the Nissan dealers around here...I saw a bunch of 2k2-3's in the lots of 2 or 3 of the local dealers here for sale...

i'll never understand you guys buying cars off ebay.....but good luck anyhow

Then get a 6-speed without nav and put in your own (better *and* cheaper) after you get the car.

Actually Northern Va. being a pretty affluent area, probabbly not be that hard....when I bought my max last year there were 2 6sp on the lot with navi....too bad I didn't have an extra $7K......

Isn't $22k a bit much for that, plus all the fees you'll have to pay and shipping charges, you'll be well over $23k. Seems a bit high priced to me Good luck though.

Nice, the picture of the front left side of the car looks weird tho. Look at the passenger door is it just me or does the picture make it look like its dented in where it lines up with the front fender. Probably just me because its 12 at night, NICE CAR THOUGH!!!

GOOD LUCK

erm without reading nothing more than the title and the auction, for that 22k any bank will ask for your soul as a caparo... that is a really huge sum to finance for a car.

Best of luck.

i really know what he is going thru. im being a bit more picky in the NJ area, actually, A LOT more picky, and i only want a graphite on black 02 or 03 GLE...i might settle for a black on black, but it is proving VERY difficult. TONS of SEs all over the place. in my search, no lie, i have found TWO. the exact one i wanted, i just cant sell my car (dammit!), and a silver with grey leather (bleh). thats it. everything else is an SE. so either they are still out on lease, or just no one around here bought GLEs.

good luck with the bank and everything bro.

You're the FIRST person I know of that would pick a GLE over a SE . I never really understood the hype over SEs, what difference does it make when everyone's upgrading their stock suspension anyway? Oh, yeah, the wheels are different... I personally prefer the wood trim, especially on 6th genners.

Here, try this one. Its a 2002 SE 6spd 15 miles from you with 27k for under $19k. Much better deal for you IMO.

that 2002 se doesn't have the navi he's looking for, but agree with what other's have said... get your own navi, it's gonna be better and cheaper.

thanks, but to be honest, i really dont care whether i get a GLE or an SE, cuz like you said, i would modify the suspension anyway. if i can find a fully loaded SE, im all about that, but its much easier to just hunt down a GLE. it has everything i want anyway.
